Jacob Wetterling Resource Center (JWRC) has teamed up with Columbus Elementary to host a free class for Elementary School Students on personal safety. Parents should plan to attend with their children. 

“Empower Me!”

Children will learn about personal safety in this interactive session. Topics covered are: the buddy system, checking first, secrets vs. surprises, 5 trusted adults, listening to your uh-oh feeling, and body ownership. Never fear-based, this material is covered in a way that empowers children.
